The original INPRO Group was founded in the 1960’s in Paris as a venture between several European based export packing companies with the objective to finance research and development on enhancing packing methods and materials. At first as a limited company and later in the 1970’s the Group developed itself as a disciplined association of cooperating members with the objective of enhancing business services across European borders, through an exchange of technical and business information. Since then new members from all over the world have succesfully achieved membership of the organisation.
